campaign strategy

This project was created in response to D&AD Newblood Google x HMCT brief and was awarded a yellow pencil.
Temporary migrant workers play a key role within Australia’s supply chains. However, the barrier of language means that workers are often unseen, unheard and forgotten within the gaps of policy. This campaign disrupts the day-to-day by taking over Google search and using multilingual scripts to replicate the frustrations of experiencing a language barrier, enabling Australians to empathise with these vulnerable workers and break down the divide between migrants and non-migrants.
In collaboration with Caitlin Ong, Subin Yoon & Amanda Fung.
Personal contribution: reserach, conceptualisation, strategy, billboard designs and animation.

They are not considered a citizen within any nation and lack access to healthcare, education and face difficulty getting employment or identiy certificates which leaves them more vulnerable to abuse and exploitation.
